As spring gets underway and birds begin to nest, this blue tit is certainly settling in to her new sitting room. The novel birdbox is the brainchild of wildlife expert Kate MacRae, who designed and built the nesting site using dolls house furniture. Kate, a wildlife consultant who has appeared on Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Countryfile came up with the fun idea to show people what is going on in their own back yards. And Kate, who blogs as WildlifeKate, has fitted a camera to live stream all the action in her garden in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Kate said: "This box has been giving us amazing footage and I cannot describe how excited I was when the first blue tit entered the box and had a good look around.
