Strong storm hit suddenly in phu khieo thailand!
from a very hot 43 degree celcius Easter Sunday afternoon April 27, around 4.30pm, a few storms grew around the area but the sky was still broken with some sun spells above us. Then within at most 2 minutes the straight line winds & torrential rain hit with close Lightning strikes & hurricane force winds. This lasted just over an hour bringing down a large tree near us (photo) as well as many smaller trees & large branches. The bearby village had many houses roofs blown off (corrugated iron type) We have since had a second similar storm but not quite so strong winds.
