Footage shows a fireman expertly catching a wild python - using only one hand. Phinyo Pukphinyo, 49, was called after residents noticed the serpent coiled round a pole outside their home in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 3 evening. The expert snake catcher - who has been handling reptiles professionally for more than three decades - used a single hand to carefully loosen the snake and grip it by the head before pulling it away from its hiding place. Phinyo said: ''Even if a snake like this isn't venomous, it's important to be careful when touching them, especially if they're in awkward positions.''
