Paralysed woman leaves TikTok in tears after romantic rescue by handsome firemen
A woman has gone viral on TikTok after a trio of handsome firefighters carried her up her apartment stairs, with the internet claiming it's like something out of a romance novel.
Haleigh Rosa, a model and disability advocate, became trapped when the lift in her building stopped working due to flooding.
Unable to get her wheelchair up the stairs to her apartment on the 31st floor she called the fire brigade for help, with the dishy rescuers appearing within 30 minutes to save the day.
Sharing a video of her saviours on TikTok (@halrose ), she quickly gained over 14.9m views.
“They truly saved me from being stuck, and I'm so thankful for their work,” the 34-year old, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, told http://NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“They made something serious a little bit more entertaining and I'm glad we were able to laugh along the way.
“They were beyond nice.”
Placing the call, her heroes arrived within 30 minutes with a smile on their faces.
She said: “The firemen had the choice of going down 31 flights of steps, or up 13 to reach floor 44 where we would be able to cross over and use a different elevator bank.
“The men chose to go up as it was safer and less stairs, and decided to carry me piggy-back style while another carried my wheelchair.
“There were three men total, two of which took turns carrying me.
“I've since learned (through Tiktok) all three men are taken!”
Wanting to thank the men who rescued her, Haleigh has since returned to the fire station to visit them.
She said: “They invited me to tour their station and have lunch.
“I may go back more considering the salad they made me was delicious!
“I also brought them cookies as a thank you!”
Posting the clip on TikTok, she quickly gathered over 2m likes and 4,600 comments from her followers.
One of her viewers was even engaged to one of the charming trio.
“Idk how my fiancé just showed up on my fyp but I’m gonna go cry now cause this is so wholesome,” said Yasenya. [sic]
