A makeup artist transforms herself into the Princess Jasmine to celebrate the new Disney Aladdin live action movie.

To recreate the cartoon Disney character's huge eyes, she erased her eyebrows and created a higher crease on her eye using eyeshadow- adding eyeliner to finish off the look.

The Norwegian makeup artist, Stephanie Stokkvik, runs a YouTube channel where she transforms herself into different characters, with this transformation being completed on May 7.

My name is Stephanie Stokkvik, and I’m a Norwegian Makeup Artist and YouTuber based in London, UK.

I've worked for magazines and brands such as Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair and Asprey to name a few, and also been lucky enough to work with celebs such as Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones, Dan Smith from the band Bastille and Adam Lambert amongst others.

On my YouTube channel I transform myself into movie and cartoon characters, from Jon Snow (Game of Thrones) to Disney villains and princesses, as well as fairy tale inspired makeup.

To celebrate the new Aladdin live action movie, I just had to transform myself into the Disney cartoon version of the feisty and confident Princess Jasmine.

One of my main focuses was to achieve Jasmine’s huge eyes essential to her character. To achieve the look I used various tricks to emulate the proportions used by the animators such as large brown circle lenses and techniques to make the eyes look larger, and relocating my eyebrows and contouring to mimic her face shape.

My theme for the video was the scene from 'A Whole New World', as it’s one of my all time favorite Disney songs.

As well as the actual makeup transformations I also do my best to bring the characters to life by having good costumes, making props, and sometimes doing sketches to bring some additional fun to my videos as well as adding special effects when editing. I love creating little fantasy worlds.
