Taxi Cab Crashes into Traffic Light Causing it to Collapse
A yellow taxi cab driving up 3rd Avenue at 96th Street in Manhattan today apparently lost control and crashed into a traffic light pole causing the whole thing to crash down onto the sidewalk and street.
Several people were walking and had to stop short to avoid the falling debris. The passenger of the vehicle was slightly injured by the seatbelt and can be seen sitting on the sidewalk at the beginning of the video. Witnesses say the driver appeared to lose control and spun into the pole.
