An evening out for boba for turns into quite a mess when friends attempt to take on the boba challenge on June 19 in Atlanta, Ga.

Ellie and Celine decide to try the boba challenge after Ellie explains it to her in addition to showing her Twitter videos. With determination Celine is confident that she will excel. She attempts it twice before the third when the boba explodes everywhere.

"We could not stop laughing. The poor girl working looked mortified and handed us a roll of paper towels and dipped. I don't blame her," says Ellie.

After cleaning up the mess they order another and decide it is best to open it in the car instead.

"We will now avoid that boba shop at all costs," says Ellie.

My friend Celine and I went out for some boba and I explained the challenge to her and showed her a couple off Twitter. The first attempts she punched the table. Third really was the charm! We then wiped up the 16 oz of vanilla boba and then proceeded to order another and “opened” it in the car. We will now avoid that boba shop at all costs.
