Time-lapse footage shows Storm Falcon bringing heavy rain across the Philippines capital Manila yesterday (July 17).

The tropical storm, with the international name storm Danas, made landfall in the early hours of the morning in the northern and central parts of the Philippines.

It wreaked havoc across the country with maximum winds of up to 65 kph near the center and gusts of up to 80 kph. It is expected to exit the country on Friday morning.

Filmer Tam Canarejo was at his office building when he took the video. He said: "We could clearly see the power of the wind and rain from up there, it was quite scary."
