UK family defend themselves from exotic pheasant using handbag 'shield'
A family visiting a zoo in Norfolk were surprised when an exotic pheasant flew out of its enclosure and began attacking them, prompting them to use a handbag as a shield.
The feisty pheasant, from the Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens near Great Yarmouth, flew out and began pecking at the four people before being distracted by the handbag, allowing the humans to escape.
The filmer commented: "We did complain to the management, they are now going to move the bird."
