Tortoise charges at man in botanical gardens to nip at his feet
Who said tortoises are slow?
The clip, filmed in the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens in Cape Town, South Africa shows the moment a tortoise charged at a man to nip at his toes.
"I had this angulate tortoise come charging at me from 50-metres-away. To my surprise, it started to charge my foot. Some people have said it looks like I kicked it when it eventually bit me, but I can assure you that's not the case. When it bit me I pulled my foot away and the tortoise was still attached to my shoe. No tortoises were harmed in the making of this video!" The filmer Alfie told Newsflare.
