Partially-sighted UK student kicked out of pub because barman wrongly thought he was drunk
A student who is partially-sighted in dimly-lit spaces claims he was kicked out of a pub because the barman wrongly assumed he was drunk.
Dafydd Knops, 20, suffers from rare eye condition retinitis pigmentosa, which means his eyes do not adjust to the dark leaving him with tunnel vision in dimly-lit areas and at night.
The condition led to him stumbling into a table and knocking over a stranger's drink during a night out last weekend, on December 1.
Dafydd, an archaeology student at the University of West of England (UWE), in Bristol, had gone to The Berkeley pub in Clifton, Bristol, with some friends, when he was struck with poor vision.
