London Underground station parodies banana artwork that sold for $120,000
Canning Town Tube station has parodied the banana artwork which sold for $120,000 and then eaten by a performance artist at Art Basel in Miami.
The parody at the London Underground station shows a service information board with a banana taped on with yellow and black tape. Written below is 'only £45,000,' with a previous 'price' of £91,000 scribbled out. The board says the 'special offer' is available for '1 week only.'
The amusing footage was captured on Wednesday (December 11).
