Huge 154lbs pumpkin grown with organic manure
A farmer was delighted with this enormous pumpkin he grew in his greenhouse with organic manure.
Pakisara Chapromma, 24, planted the pumpkin seed in a greenhouse at his farm in Tak, eastern Thailand on Spetember 10.
He had been cultivating it for three months until it weighed 154lbs and he harvested it last Wednesday (18/12) morning.
The district Minister of Agriculture Orapin, Saengmanee, came to see the pumpkin and asked to use it in a display in a forthcoming agriculture product show.
She said: "We plan to display this pumpkin at the festival and let the locals guest its weight, as part of a colourful activity in the festival."
The farmer said he was proud to be able to grow this big pumpkin. He said: "It amazed me because I only used the organic manure to grow this pumpkin."
