Ten feet long Phyton rescued from Northern East India.
Their was a dog fight with the python in the Barogharia area of Dhupguri in Jalpaiguri District West Bengal.
The phyton entered into the fields along the Jaliaka river in the village, There was a fight between the python and the dog. At that time, the villagers ran away after hearing group of dog yelling. As they approached, they found several dogs surrounded the pythons. The villagers then carried the python with a stick and placed it in a vacant land. Environmental lovers and forest workers were informed.
Forest workers & environmental workers reached the scene and rescued the python, They were taken to the house of snake expert Mintu Chowdhury, where he was given first aid, then the Binnaguri Wildlife Squad personnel came and handed the snake to them. Latter its was realsed in the jungle.
