Two Georgian Airways planes landed at Tbilisi International Airport on Tuesday evening on special flights out of Rome to bring 156 citizens home amid coronavirus fears.

Footage shows the planes arriving and passengers being checked for temperature.

The Deputy Foreign Minister said appropriate security measures would be observed.

According to local media. they will undergo a check-up in Georgia and will be quarantined for 14 days.

The flight attendants were given special instructions and equipment.
According to the decision of the government of Georgia, direct flights were suspended with Italy rom March 6. Direct flights have been stopped to China and Iran.
