In order to enforce restrictions on public assembly and movement and ensure lockdown, Jammu and Kashmir Police Monday pressed a drone into service through which appeal was made to people to stay indoors here.
In the early morning, cops in the city activated appeal was announced asking people to stay home and not to breach restrictions.

Even as restrictions on movement and assembly of people continued for 5th consecutive day, police adopted a model to enforce social-distancing at medical shops, ATMs and foods stores which are among 16 essential service exempted from restriction.
Since March 18, Kashmir has been observing lockdown in a bid to stop coronavirus in the Valley where one positive COVID-19 case has been recorded so far.
Police gas advised public to cooperate to stop spread of this pandemic and follow the guidelines issued by the government from time to time.
In entire Jammu and Kashmir four positive cases of COVID-19 have been recorded so far.
Large groups of police and paramilitary forces continue to remain deployed at major road intersections in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley while concertina wires and barricades remain erected to enforce curbs on public movement.
