This adorable toddler had a virtual birthday party where his grandparents video-called in during America's coronavirus lockdown.

Roger turned three on March 15 and his parents threw him a party which included him unwrapping his presents in front of a couple of laptops so his grandparents could see.

The birthday boy unwrapped a scooter and started to ride it around his North Carolina home while his family held the laptops up so his grandparents could see the fun.

Carla, Roger's mum, told Newsflare: "We were trying to think of a way to include grandparents in their three-year-old grandson’s birthday party.
They live near us and are usually part of all of our family gatherings. We felt it was especially important to keep the older generation safe from the virus.

"Roger opened his presents while they watched, and then we all sang happy birthday to him. He even tried to share a bite of cake with his grandparents through the screen."

To keep his grandparents safe from COVID-19, we held a virtual birthday party for his 3rd birthday.
