A shocking fire in Toronto, Canada, abrupted as residents are in lockdown amid COVID-19 on Thursday morning (April 23).

The fire broke out at the apartment on the third floor and spread out to a balcony.

"I went out to check over our balcony and that's when I saw the corner balcony on the third floor on fire," the filmer said. "I asked my wife immediately to get ready to evacuate [...] eventually the firefighters were able to control the fire and it was put down with no one hurt or injured."

My wife and I were watching TV on the couch just after 10 am when the building fire alarm was triggered, my wife and I didn't think much of it because they do fire alarm tests every month so, we thought that's what it was, a few minutes after that I looked over the window (south side) and that's when we saw the black smoke, I went out to check over our balcony and that's when I saw the corner balcony on the 3 floor on fire, I asked my wife immediately to get ready to evacuate and that's when I pulled my phone out and started filming, eventually the fire fighters were able to control the fire and it was put down with no one hurt or injured.
