Cool timelapse footage shows a Vietnamese baker creating a lotus flower and fish-themed cake using a 3D gelatin technique.

Baker, Thu Van, from Kontum recorded herself using a syringe with a needle attached to shape the creation.

The technique allows the patterns to be drawn inside of the cake with great care and precision.

This particular work of art took Thu Van around an hour to create on May 12.

She is making a cake called "3D Gelatin Art Cake". This is a special type of cake because the patterns will be drawn in 3D and located on the inside of the cake.
The ingredients to make this cake are jellys. The woman will use a syringe with a needle and thread it into the cake to shape.
In the video, The woman created an aquarium-shaped cake. With swimming fish and lotus flowers.
The woman took over 1 hour to complete the cake.
