Libya: Coast Guard Ship ‘Al Kifah’ Rescues 74 Migrants
On August 19th, 74 migrants have been rescued by the Libyan Coast Guard ship Al Kifah', including 3 women and 25 minors of different African nationalities.
The United Nations Higher Commission of Refugees (UNHCR) said, the number of illegal immigrants rescued off the Libyan coast has increased significantly over the past few days, with the Libyan Coast Guard rescuing more than 5,000 illegal immigrants this year.
A video posted on social media shows a part of the disembarkation process of migrants rescued by the Libyan Coast Guard.
