Car reverses into deliveryman and pushes him into shop after Chinese motorist with heels accidentally presses accelerator
A car reversed into a deliveryman and pushed him into a shop after the motorist accidentally pressed the accelerator.
The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province on July 6, shows a car suddenly reserving, knocking over a deliveryman on a scooter who stopped in front of a shop.
According to reports, the motorist named Zhu was wearing a pair of 5-centimetre-high heels accidentally pressed the accelerator.
Since drivers are not allowed to wear heels which are more than 4 centimetres high, police fined Zhu and deducted points from her licence.
The deliveryman suffered injuries to his leg and several scooters parked in front of the shop were damaged.
