Tearful 'BLM' speech by Marvina Newton from 'United for Black Lives outside New Scotland Yard

Today, (September 12), a crowd of BLM supporters, protested outside 'New Scotland Yard', formerly known as the 'Curtis Green Building', located on the Victoria, Embankment. London.

The crowd chanted, "The UK is not innocent, the UK is guilty" and "enough is enough" as various speakers passionately spoke to the crowds, including CEO founder of Youths, Marvina Newton, (shown in the footage) was in tears and had to be comforted as she spoke passionately to the crowd, detailing her experiences as a black woman, as well as highlighting other family and friends experiences in life. Marvina is a Nigerian-born community leader, activist, feminist and mother who said, "remember how they treated my Nigerian brother in West Yorkshire, (David Oluwalie), and how the police decided it was fun to beat him to death and throw his body in the river". David Oluwale was a British Nigerian who drowned in the River Aire in Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, in 1969 which have been described as 'systematic harassment was orchestrated by the Leeds city police force'.
