Rescuers save man floating at sea for 10 hours after boat sinks in China
Rescuers saved a man floating on a sea for around 10 hours after a fishing boat sank in southern China.
In the video, filmed in the city of Zhangzhou in Fujian Province on September 23, a helicopter with rescuers on it was searching for five people who went missing at sea after their fishing boat sank.
After they spotted one man floating on the sea on a plank, one rescuer lowered down through a rope to deliver a life jacket to the man, then both were lifted up and brought into the helicopter together.
After being treated in the hospital, the man was not in life-threatening condition.
According to reports, one person died and three other crew were still missing.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
