Abby, the relatively famous bodyboarding dog has found the love of her life, a boy from the neighborhood. Abby was adopted by my family after being saved from euthanasia. Abby was about two years old, had suffered severe neglect and abuse prior to being saved. Her will To survive was broken. All the while she remained a gentle soul. Abby would quiver when people would try and pet her. Our vet explained she was anticipating pain. Heartbreaking. Abby is a Labrador mix breed, she should love the water. However. she was even afraid of water. The only thing she Is not afraid of, her toys. As time went on, she learned to love the pool. Bodyboarding everyday during the summer! Recently Abby met her love. A boy down the street. A Golden Retriever namer Finn. If you mention Finn’s name Abby becomes so excited! Finn’s owner lives down the street from Abby. And the feeling is mutual!. Finn will come bounding down the street to meet with his girl! They have play dates at the pool every chance they get. Life is so good for our sweet Abby Girl!
