Strong winds and rain lash southern Japan as Typhoon Chan-Hom approaches
Typhoon Chan-hom battered the south of Kyushu in southern Japan, while moving north across the rest of the Japanese islands.
Footage of the typhoon filmed today (October 8) shows gusty winds and heavy rains in islands in the south including Hachijo-Jima located 287km off the coast of Tokyo.
The clip was filmed by @monicakwsm while they were driving through the storm.
