This man in western India's city of Pune has collected over 250 lamps in 25 years.

Businessman Shyam Mothe has been collecting lamps for 25 years with the oldest in his collection being 150-years-old.

Mothe said: "I saw two old lamps which were made in England and were powered by kerosene, I bought those lamps and dismantled them to study about the parts, from that point I developed a passion for different lamps and became curious about the technology."

The businessman also adds the most precious lamp he owns is one that was mounted on a Victorian buggy.
