I am a professional photographer and owner of Sand Dollar Images LLC I specialize in landscape images of the Turks Caicos Islands Amazing work When I shoot Nikon D850 I also have an iPhone with me for reference shots and quick videos We have these amazing storms that roll in sometimes They blow up from the south and cross over Grace Bay Beach headed offshore to the northwest This day I was shooting waves on Grace Bay and could see this incredible black cloud bank rolling in from Leeward Point Watching the evolution of dark clouds into a shelf cloud is just amazing It happens very quickly and I was on full alert and shooting like crazy The coolest thing is that because of the way this storm was moving I was on the beach in the sunshine through the whole shoot so not a drop of rain and the water was lit up from the sun over my shoulder My still images from the shoot are outstanding But I always like to shoot some video as well for context And this one is one of my favorites ever It captures the full storm at the height of its development Name Sharon HornsteinLocation Turks and Caicos Islands Providenciales Grace Bay Beach
