China’s last primitive tribe village almost burnt down in huge fire
China’s last primitive tribe village was almost lost in a huge fire.
The video, captured in Cangyuan Va Autonomous County in Yunnan Province on February 14, shows straw huts being engulfed in massive flames and heavy smoke rising into the air.
According to reports, the over 4,000-year-old Wengding village is a national tourism resort. Only four out of 105 straw huts remained intact after the fire.
The village is a 4A tourist attraction, the second-highest rank of tourist attractions in the country.
Pictures at the end of the video show what the village looked like before the blaze.
The fire has been put out and no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
