Police officers helped push vehicles stranded on a snow-covered road as a strong blizzard hit northern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Manzhouli in Inner Mongolia on March 15, shows strong winds blowing snow into the air, causing extremely low visibility.

A truck was also seen flipped over on its side due to the strong winds.

According to reports, the visibility was less than 50 metres and the speed of the wind reached between 55.3 mph and 63.4 mph. Schools and buses were reportedly suspended.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
