Buy video

We had an amazing whale watching experience today filmed aboard the Newport Coastal Adventure fast raft boat with an active pod of common dolphins feeding on anchovies off the coast of Newport Beach, California. This slow motion capture allows us to see all the details of this feeding frenzy, as it all happens so fast out on the water.

Our whale watching & dolphin tours that depart daily in Southern California all year long. We offer multiple whale watching boat styles including larger passenger vessels, catamarans, and smaller 6-15 passenger zodiac tours. We are well known for our Pacific Gray Whale Migration from December to May, but actually see whales year round! Throughout the year we can see also see humpback whales, blue whales, fin whales, minke whales, bryde's whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, risso's dolphins and more!
