New born baby springbuck antelope taking her first wobbly steps
This was a beautiful scene of new life in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in South Africa. On safari, we saw only the bunny-like ears sticking out of the long grass after the good rains. Later we could see it was actually a newborn baby springbok antelope. Its mother came closer to collect him and off they went with him still a bit wobbly on his feet as he tried to follow her. It was a special sighting on an African safari.
