My name is Carrie Brooks, I’m 43 from Plymouth and I am a home stylist. The video was filmed by myself out B&M in plympton, Plymouth. I thought of the idea when I realised that a pound coin was the same size as my round door key head, I tried it one day and it worked and I have used this hack ever since.
My friends and family didn’t believe it at first and thought it was a prank but I showed them and they love that it works! I have pointed it out to a few people that have been stuck without a pound and they have been saved with their key!
In the video I am demonstrating how to use a round key head to release a locked shopping trolley and then locking it back up to retrieve my key the same as you would with a pound coin.
