Filmed at RSPB Dungeness, where one Great Crested Grebe spent a long time making sure it is looking its best. These birds were near extinct not so long ago. In the 1850s, only 50 pairs remained due to their prized feathers - but thanks to conservation efforts, their numbers have now increased. RSPB Dungeness is a good place to see these beautiful birds. Just look at how this one took so much care looking its best. It also looks as if it has a nest. Perhaps in a month or so little chicks will hatch and then it'll be fun to see them hitching rides on their parents' back!
