Rescue efforts continue after deadly mudslide hits Atami, Japan
Rescue efforts continue after a huge mudslide hit the town of Atami in Shizuoka prefecture, southwest of Tokyo, on Saturday (July 3). Three people deaths have been reported as of writing following the large mudslide triggered by torrential rain in the hot-spring resort town.
Video filmed on Sunday by Date Naoto shows rescue workers at the scene of displaced houses.
