Far-right demonstrators attack journalists and LGBTQ activists ahead of Pride march in Tbilisi
There is a confrontation near the church of Kashveti, where the clergymen offered prayers. Protesters beat a journalist of one of the TV companies.
Law enforcers and clerics arrived on the scene to try to ease the situation.
Police removed the journalist from the scene through a cordon..
Opponents of the March of Dignity came to the office of Tbilisi Pride on Akhvlediani Street.
Some of the protesters are trying to break into the Tbilisi Pride office from the balconies. They recently burned an LGBT flag put up on the office building.
The protesters are aggressive towards the journalists working on the spot.
Police are present in small numbers on the spot.
