Hilarious moment woman has one too many at a wine tasting session and falls to the floor – leaving her husband in stitches
A video has been shared on social media of a woman falling to the floor after she had one too many drinks during her first night out since lockdown was lifted – leaving her partner in hysterics.
Michele, 52, a housewife from Lancashire and her partner, who doesn’t wish to be named, recently visited Chester for a wine tasting trip.
The couple sampled six different types of wine, but having not been for a big night out all year, Michele wasn't prepared for how the alcohol would hit her system.
Or for her partner to capture her inebriated state on camera.
In the video, she can be seen stumbling along a hotel corridor trying to get back into the couple's room.
She leans on the wall trying to regain her balance but ends up falling to the floor.
Her husband giggles as the poor woman lays helplessly on the ground and can't control her laugher.
“Please tell me you can get up,” he tells her, before jokingly saying, “Michele, get the f*** up.”
Michele attempts to get herself on her own two feet but can't stop laughing, and even let out a snort.
“Peppa pig!” her husband jokes.
“It’s not funny, I hate myself, I think I’ve done my hip in,” Michele tells her partner.
“Hips don’t lie!” he replies.
A tipsy Michele then asks her partner to keep his voice down as she doesn't want to wake the other guests in the hotel rooms.
After a few moments, she manages to get up on her knees but disaster strikes again, as she notices her shoe has fallen off.
“What’s happened to your shoes?,” Michele’s partner asks her.
“I don’t know,” she replies, before collapsing back to the floor once more.
A trooper, Michele finally manages to get up once more and stumbles towards her partner with one shoe off, telling him “I’m absolutely w***ered.”
We're sure many Brits can relate.
