Boston Dynamics robot test run
A cool video has emerged of a team from Massachusetts-based robotics company Boston Dynamics taking their new robot 'The Spot' for a test run on Thursday.
The footage shows the quadruped robot walking alongside its controller on a road near the company's research facility.
Boston Dynamics, which specialises in developing robots that mimic the locomotion of animals, was acquired by Google in December 2013.
