'An intense series of clips documenting the situation in South Africa following the deployment of troops to restore peace in the country by preventing riots and looting.

This heart-wrenching compilation features the military police arresting the troublemakers, scaring them away by shooting rubber bullets, and punishing a few by making them hold heavy objects.

From teens to middle-aged & young adults, countless offenders were taken into custody. One 12 y/o can be seen resisting arrest by begging the journalists and the officials to let her go and that she was innocent.

The aftermath of the chaos i.e. shops in shambles, littered streets, etc. is also featured pretty prominently here.

The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) faces resistance as well, as some protestors can be seen throwing rocks, crates, and different objects at the officials and reporters/journalists/photographers.

The filmer, Earl Coetzee said: "This is a series of clips showing the South African military helping prevent looting, which broke out as part of a protest campaign against the country's former president being jailed for contempt of court."

Name: Earl Coetzee
Location: Soweto, Johannesburg'
