Indian devotees celebrate festival by wrapping venomous snakes around their necks
Devotees in northern India celebrate Naga Panchami, a day dedicated to snakes, by wrapping venomous serpents around their necks.
Residents in Samastipur, Bihar, are seen with snakes wrapped around their hands, arms and necks as they celebrate the festival.
Once the festival is over, the snakes are then released back into the wild.
Locals claim that no one has been bitten by a snake during the festival that dates back 300 years.
This footage was filmed on July 28.
