An exploding meteor was caught on camera recently as it blazed through the skies of northern Texas.

"A meteor travelling at a speed of 8 miles per second ripped through the atmosphere over North Texas," he said.

'It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a meteor steering through the skies of North Texas.
