Stunning views of climate-changed coast of Porlock in Somerset, UK
Aerial footage shows how an ancient English marshland has been taken over by the sea.
Trees that once stood on this marsh in Porlock, Somerset, are now just stumps protruding from the water, poisoned by the salt water.
This is part of a managed retreat, which is effectively letting nature take its course.
As the climate slowly changes, and sea levels rise, scenes like this will become common around the entire UK coastline.
The footage was shot on 1 July 2021.
