Friendly whale accompanies standup paddleboarder through the Puerto Madryn waters of Patagonia
'A breathtaking video has emerged from Puerto Madryn, Argentina showing a playful whale swimming under the subject's paddleboard.
Filmed by Maximiliano Jonas, this clip features a standup paddleboarder being followed by a Southern Right Whale swimming close to the surface.
The filmer wrote: "These whales surely love paddleboards. Every time they spot one floating on the water, they get all excited and approach it but not in an intimidating way."
This exciting footage was caught on camera on August 31, 2021.
