A musician from Canada performed this remarkable drum solo by banging rocks on a frozen lake.

Footage captured by Leah Horstman shows Dave "DJ" Janssen sitting in the middle of the lake in Banff to give the memorable performance.

"I was taking photos of the frozen Lake Minnewanka and we saw some people skipping rocks on the frozen lake, which created the most amazing sounds we had ever heard. That's when Dave got a cool idea," said Horstman.

"He picked up two rocks and began drumming on the ice. He ended up entertaining the entire crowd with his little drum solo," she added.

The cool clip was recorded back in 2018.
