This footage was filmed and produced 5 October 2021.
Kids in lower classes have spent two years without going to school ever since 2020 when the lockdown was imposed in Uganda in February. Children are roaming around streets doing nothing which has resulted into early pregnancies, substance abuse and high crime rates.

Interviewed juveniles reported that they would have been two classes ahead by now, but President Museveni is not yet to reopen schools until when all the teachers are vaccinated (COVID-19). Most Ugandans have bias and a negative mentality about the vaccines (expired dosages, killer potions and many are not willing to take them). These kids articulated that they are tutored by their parents since some parents can not afford paying private tutors. Others report that they spend time helping parents with house chores. And others are already six years old but have never stepped to school.
