A project based in Gaza City transform waste paper into recycled pieces of art.

The Orchid Project collects pieces of paper used by children and they are then shredded and reproduced into a canvas.

The recycled canvases are then used by artists for their work.

Orchid project is a cultural, artistic, and educational model, through which Huda Thabet  "Orchid project manager"seeks to make a mark in the world of Palestinian children's literature. The project team collects the children's story sheets on drafts before they are printed, then they are recycled, shredded, and reproduced to canvas that is creatively made from waste paper, these canvas gives the artists the opportunity to use in painting and all types of artistic tableaus.
