Cube gambit: Mini Rubik's Cube make amazing chess board

Tony Fisher from Suffolk, England has constructed a full 32 piece chess set using miniature Rubik's Cubes as the core for each piece.

The set can then be used for a regular game of chess or each piece can be scrambled and solved as demonstrated. The set took several months to complete using a mix of 3D printing and hand sculpting to create masters, according to Fischer.
