Man creates 'one-man orchestra' in his bedroom
A cool video from the Newsflare archive of a man single-handedly playing every part in an orchestra.
The feat was pulled off by 24-year-old Ben Morfitt from Yorkshire in the north of England who shot and edited the three-minute piece, playing nine different instruments against a green screen in his bedroom over the course of a month.
He then combined the images together using CGI software to create the illusion of a 70-man orchestra.
“I know there are a couple of instruments missing from a FULL orchestra, but I had to work with what I had,” Ben later wrote online.
“Also, I've never tried conducting before, so I'm not 100 percent sure what I'm doing, I just watched a load of videos of conductors and tried to do something similar to them.
“I wrote this piece for a cartoon called 'Pegul' that I am a co-creator of. It's sort of like a hero vs evil suite. I really hope you enjoy it! “
