A safari-goer in Tanzania captured this dramatic battle between a lone buffalo, a pride of lions and a pack of hyenas.

A video filmed on October 12 in Ngorongoro Crater shows the large male buffalo escaping first from the hyenas before seeing off the pride of lions.

"Hyenas were trying to put this buffalo down but the lions came back and chased the hyena away," said the filmer, Salim Kiula.

"Later the buffalo escaped and the lion kept following him for a while until they disappeared," added Kiula.

This video recoded in October 2021 around 10:16 Am at Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. i got to this sight when they were about eleven lions holding this Buffalo but they didn't manage to put him down as I noticed that most of these lions were young they were only three adults that why it was very difficult for them to put down this buffalo .They have tried for a very long but nothing happened and later the lions gave up . As you can see around they were so many Hyenas waiting for the lions to make a kill so they could scavenge from them. but after the lions giving up then the hyenas took over as you can see in this video hyena were trying to put this buffalo down but before they did that the Pride of lion came back and chase the hyena away as you can see in this video and later the buffalo escaped and the lion kept following him for a while until they disappeared in a very big marsh area where we couldn't see them again .
