City officials cleared out the front yard of the Los Angeles home of an extreme hoarder, on Thursday 11 November.

Drone footage showed how the townhome in Koreatown had become a hoarder's paradise, with every available inch of yard space piled high with debris.

Authorities removed tons of trash in piled-high trucks and are now focusing their attention on the rear end of the house, which is technically a separate case, coordinating with city building inspectors.

Neighbours are relieved something is finally being done about this hoarding issue that had become a public health issue as it was attracting rodents.
