Los Angeles, United States - April 11, 2025 04/11/2025 02:04 am (GMT-0800) VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. l Los Angeles city firefighters battled a destructive fire inside a home in the 14600 block of Gilmore Street in Van Nuys this morning. Nearly 50 personnel battled the fire over 30 minutes using defensive firefighting operations to knock down the blaze, per LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey. The building, described by Humphrey as a vacant and boarded one-story home, was fully involved with fire. No injuries were reported. The fire\'s cause is under investigation. LAPD officers and firefighters cordoned off the area with crime scene tape. Drone footage featured here has been reviewed and verified by Key News Network LLC.
